An Iranian Kurdish opposition camp in Erbil Province in northern Iraq came under drone attack, according to Iraqi media outlet Shafaq News citing a source in security forces. According to the source, "the attack was carried out using a drone." The camp belongs to one of the Iranian Kurdish opposition parties. No information on casualties or consequences of the strike has been reported.

This is not the first incident in recent days: on October 21, sources in security forces reported a missile strike on an Iranian Kurdish opposition camp northeast of Erbil.

Against the backdrop of intensifying strikes, Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad Mohammad Kazem al-Sadek stated on October 20 that the sides have agreed either to expel members of Iranian Kurdish opposition groups from Iraqi Kurdistan or hand them over to Tehran. According to the diplomat, the agreement was reached at a meeting of a joint security commission. The Iraqi side has not officially confirmed this agreement.

Iranian Kurdish opposition groups have maintained camps and bases in northern Iraq for many years.
