The Kyrgyz-Uzbek enterprise GLASS CENTER for the production of double-glazing units and reflective glass has begun operations in Ysyk-Ata District of Chuy Region. The plant opened as part of the "100 Industrial Enterprises — 2026" project: on September 12, President Sadyr Japarov took part in a nationwide launch of new productions in online format.

Total investment in the project amounted to 482 million som. Design capacity reaches up to 12,000 m² of products per month, or more than 144,000 m² per year. The enterprise has already created more than 100 jobs, the majority of which have been filled by young specialists. In the future, staff is planned to expand threefold — to 300 people.

The Ministry of Economy expects that launching production will reduce Kyrgyzstan's construction market dependence on imports of double-glazing units and reflective glass and will expand internal production cooperation.
