South Korean JB Financial Group, through its subsidiary JB Woori Capital, has agreed to purchase two Kyrgyz financial organizations — Korki Credit and Korki Leasing. The transaction is valued at 17.7 billion South Korean won, equivalent to approximately $13 million. The acquisition is planned to be completed by the end of 2026.

On October 22, JB Woori Capital announced the conclusion of an agreement with the parent company of both assets — Epoche. The agreement provides for the acquisition of 100% stakes in each of the organizations.

JB Financial views Kyrgyzstan as a platform for entering the Central Asian market. The primary focus will be auto lending, particularly financing the purchase of used vehicles. The group intends to leverage its experience from the South Korean market and the existing client infrastructure of the acquired companies, and in the longer term — expand its range of financial services and diversify revenue sources.

Korki Credit is registered in the registry of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, with registration certificate No. 495 issued on June 14, 2017. Korki Leasing was registered on March 26, 2022, and holds a perpetual license for leasing activities No. 07 as of January 28, 2025.
