Spokesman for the Yemeni military Brigadier Majed Al-Nuzaili announced via X platform that government forces executed 753 precise and direct strikes on Houthi military capabilities over the past twenty-four hours, targeting advanced command and control centers, administrative units, fortifications, firing positions, assembly areas, and supply and transport units.

Al-Nuzaili clarified that the operations resulted in neutralizing 218 Houthi operatives and destroying or damaging 78 military vehicles, equipment, and weapons.

On the ground, the Taiz military zone command announced that government forces and popular resistance units foiled a Houthi attack on the Aqrud front in Misrakh district south of Taiz, noting casualties among the attackers. In Lahij, government forces reported destroying two Houthi military vehicles on the Al-Mudarabah front overlooking the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

On weapons smuggling interdiction, Yemen's Information Minister Mamar Al-Eryani announced, according to Saba News Agency, the seizure of a Houthi cell comprising 13 individuals in Shabwah governorate in the south of the country, along with a truck loaded with weapons and explosives en route to the Houthis. Al-Eryani disclosed that the seized materials include approximately 500 automatic weapons, sniper rifles, ammunition of 120 mm and 106 mm caliber, highly explosive devices, as well as ammunition and bombs designed for use in unmanned aircraft and spare parts for them. The minister noted that the operation was the result of intelligence, investigative, surveillance, and coordination efforts conducted by specialized security agencies.

On the humanitarian front, the European Union delegation in Yemen announced that the European Commission allocated an additional €22.5 million for Yemen in 2026, adding to €87.5 million it had previously allocated for the same year, based on the repercussions of military escalation including mass displacement, rise in civilian casualties, and difficulties in humanitarian access.
