Citizen in Edirne defrauded of 257,000 lira through fortune-telling scam

A resident of Edirne reported to police that they were defrauded while seeking fortune-telling services online. The victim suffered a total loss of 257,000 lira.

The fraudsters used fortune-telling services as a pretext to demand money from their victim, then continued requesting additional payments under various excuses. Following a report filed with police, an investigation into the incident has been launched.
