A workshop titled '11 Scholars Meeting' organized by Hizbullah's madrasa network Ittihadululema in Diyarbakır has concluded. The event was reported to have received support from the Directorate of Religious Affairs, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, Taliban, and Hizbut-Tahrir Turkey Province, which is designated as a terrorist organization by the Court of Cassation.

Dr. Nevvaf Tekruri, chairman of the Palestinian Scholars Union and ideological adviser to Hamas, argued that religious outreach work in Turkey remains insufficient. Tekruri stated that the AKP government has provided broad opportunities in this field and that 'the field is open,' adding that this area needs to be filled.

In the workshop's final communiqué, decisions were made to digitalize illegal madrasas, increase cooperation with foundations and civil society organizations, and use digital tools in 'religious guidance activities.'

The participation of representatives from foreign terrorist organizations in the meeting and the content of the final communiqué have reignited discussions in security circles about radical structures in Turkey. The Directorate of Religious Affairs has not shared any information with the public regarding its support for the event.
