Minibus carrying farmworkers overturns in Konya: 14 injured, 2 in critical condition

A minibus with license plate 42 G 51 carrying farmworkers overturned near Argıthanı Neighborhood in Ilgın district, Konya, after driver Mustafa Dağdelen lost control of the vehicle. The accident occurred during peak working hours when worker transportation to agricultural fields was in full swing.

Newspaper, following the report of the crash, health, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. The health teams that provided initial response conducted triage operations on the injured at the scene. The injured assessed as not carrying life-threatening risk were transported by ambulance to Ilgın Dr. Vefa Tanır State Hospital, while more seriously injured patients were taken to Akşehir State Hospital.

Of the 14 injured receiving treatment, 2 were found to be in critical condition with ongoing life-threatening risk. Police launched an investigation into the accident while also conducting a separate examination to determine why the driver lost control.
