The TBMM General Assembly, in a motion passed during night proceedings, included investors who issued instructions to TEFAS to return fund shares on or before September 17, 2026, but whose transactions were not executed, within the liquidation scope. The motion submitted by AKP deputies regulates that these investors whose participation shares have been blocked will be subject to liquidation provisions in their capacity as fund share holders.

CHP Vice Group Leader Rahmi Türeli said, "You are producing something contrary to law, thousands of lawsuits will come." Yeni Parti Vice Group Leader Gökhan Günaydın condemned the motion in harsh language and said, "With this motion you are crushing the receivables of 250,000 citizens," noting that they engaged in midnight impropriety, stating that there are 830 billion lira in fraud and plunder here with 450,000 victims. AKP Group Leader Abdullah Güler defended the motion as "a legal definition made so that no gap remains."

The Capital Markets Board argued that issuing a sale order does not by itself mean that settlement has begun. Good Party Vice Group Leader Erhan Usta said, "AKP issued a sales instruction, it wants to put investors waiting for their money in the liquidation queue," stating that the legal ground necessary for citizens to seek their rights in court is being eliminated and that Parliament cannot be made an instrument of concealing this plunder. Economist İnan Mutlu also noted that AKP's midnight motion regulated the PBLK incident to the detriment of victims.

The bill regarding the liquidation of funds was passed in the general assembly.
