Uzbekistan's Migration Agency recovered 850,000 US dollars from foreign employers on behalf of 817 citizens for unpaid wages and compensation owed to Uzbeks who worked abroad during January–September 2026.

The largest number of cases was recorded in Russia — 533. Turkey accounted for 155 cases, South Korea for 92, and other countries for 37.

During the same period, the agency helped 532 citizens recover identity documents that intermediaries and foreign employers had withheld. Of these, 331 cases involved Russia, 185 Turkey, 11 Kazakhstan, and 5 South Korea.

The Migration Agency urges citizens who have encountered rights violations abroad to contact the short number 1282 or reach out via the Telegram bot @huquqiy_yordam_uzbot. Requests are accepted around the clock.
