Georgia's exports to Kyrgyzstan for January–September 2026 contracted by $430.4 million, or 39.8%, compared with the same period last year — falling to $650.2 million from $1.081 billion a year earlier. The data was released by Georgia's National Statistics Service (Geostat) on October 19.

The steepest decline occurred in automobile re-exports, which account for approximately 95% of Georgian exports to the republic. Over the nine months of 2026, Georgia re-exported 16,473 vehicles to Kyrgyzstan worth around $620 million in total. In monetary terms, vehicle shipments fell 39% compared with the same period in 2025. The average declared value per vehicle was $37,600.

Despite the sharp contraction in volume, Kyrgyzstan retained its position as Georgia's leading export partner.
