EuroLeague President Dejan Bodiroga and CEO Jorge Bueno apologized to Fenerbahçe club and supporters for the mistreatment of Fenerbahçe fans regarding ticket allocation at the Final Four tournament, according to reporting from Anadolu Agency.

Fenerbahçe Board Member Cem Ciritci stated in a statement to AA that the club's 10-year licensing agreement with EuroLeague does not mean they will remain silent, emphasizing that the injustice experienced by yellow-and-navy supporters at the Final Four will continue to be subject to criticism.

The EuroLeague management's apology at this level was assessed as a rare step in the basketball world. Fenerbahçe is among Europe's most established clubs, and its fan base constitutes an important commercial force in tournaments.
