Turkey now meets armor steel needs through domestic production

Turkey has completely localized its armor steel supply through Miilux, a significant step toward self-sufficiency in the country's defense industry. Armor steel produced by Miilux will be used across Turkish military platforms. The achievement, delivered under the localization drive, reduces external dependency on strategic materials. Armor steel is a critical input in the manufacture of tanks, armored vehicles, and naval vessels. With the project now complete, Turkey has shifted from importer to domestic producer in this sector.
