UAE Accelerates Pipeline Project Bypassing Strait of Hormuz

The UAE National Petroleum Company (ADNOC) has decided to accelerate the "West-East" pipeline project that bypasses the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.

The project aims to reduce reliance on the Strait of Hormuz for maritime transport of oil and gas. The pipeline is scheduled to begin operations by 2027 and is considered strategic to ensure the security of UAE energy supplies.
