Turkey's Interior Ministry: 181 Criminal Organizations Dismantled, Thousands Arrested in 49,662 Operations Over 100 Days

Turkey's Interior Ministry announced the results of an expanded security campaign carried out under its direct coordination between February 11 and May 21, according to Turkish news channel TRT.

The campaign, which spanned 100 consecutive days, involved the conduct of 49,662 security operations across all Turkish territory, resulting in the dismantling of 181 criminal organizations and the arrest of thousands of individuals suspected of belonging to these organizations or being involved in their illegal activities.

The campaign is part of ongoing security efforts by Turkish authorities to combat organized crime and strengthen internal security, with the ministry serving as the coordinating body overseeing operations among various agencies and security directorates at the national level.
