Justice Minister Gürlek: Strong Fight Against Substance Addiction

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek stated that they have further strengthened the rehabilitative dimension of the penal system in combating drug and substance addiction. The minister emphasized that work in this field continues and highlighted improvements made within the system.

According to Gürlek's statements, new measures are being implemented and the system is being strengthened for the rehabilitation of individuals with addiction in prisons. Combating substance addiction is considered one of Turkey's major social problems.
