Cem Küçük arrested: Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı allegedly became informant

Journalist Cem Küçük was arrested by court order on charges of 'publicly spreading misleading information' and 'extortion' following his detention, and sent to Çorlu Karatepe High-Security Prison.

Newspaper, a determining factor in Küçük's arrest was Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı's transition to informant status after entering prison in May as part of an illegal gambling and money laundering operation. It is alleged that the two men were previously in close circles and acted jointly against certain businesspeople.

Pınar Kütahyalı, Kütahyalı's wife, posted from her social media account following Küçük's arrest, saying "Divine justice works for everyone" and asking "Where are the broadcasts that went on until morning?".

Küçük had previously denied allegations that Kütahyalı became an informant and had criticized his former friend in harsh language in public.
