The possibility of opening direct air service between Bishkek and Prague was discussed by Manasbek Samidinov, chairman of the board of JSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," and Ivan Bednárik, Transport Minister of the Czech Republic. The talks took place at Manas International Airport during an official visit by a Czech delegation to Kyrgyzstan.

The two sides reviewed prospects for developing passenger and cargo air transport on the new route, as well as opportunities for broader bilateral cooperation in aviation. Following the talks, the Czech delegation toured the airport's upgraded infrastructure: guests were shown the facility's modern technical capabilities, recently implemented innovations, and briefed on ongoing development projects for Kyrgyzstan's aviation system.

The next step in the negotiation process will be a reciprocal visit by a delegation from Airports of Kyrgyzstan to Prague's international airport. During that trip, the sides expect to reach concrete agreements on the timeline and conditions for launching direct service between the two capitals.
