Adana Mayor Karalar: 'Kılıçdaroğlu acted wrongly, problems should have been resolved through dialogue'

Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar made sharp remarks about former CHP General Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's recent stance toward the party. Karalar stated, 'In my view, Kemal Bey acted wrongly. If there are issues — and I believe there are some problems — they should have been discussed and resolved. That did not happen.' Cumhuriyet newspaper reported these comments.

Karalar also called for an extraordinary congress, emphasizing that the party should resolve internal problems through party mechanisms rather than discussing them publicly. Kılıçdaroğlu's critical statements directed at the CHP's current leadership had deepened factional divisions within the party.
