B.Y., shot in the head yesterday evening in the Old Misis neighborhood, remains in intensive care at Adana City Hospital; life-threatening condition continues.

A 6-year-old child, B.Y., was found shot in the head at home yesterday evening in the Old Misis neighborhood, part of Adana's Yüreğir district. Following a report, emergency medical and gendarmerie teams dispatched to the scene provided initial treatment at the location and transported the critically injured child by ambulance to Adana City Education and Research Hospital. B.Y. was admitted to the intensive care unit, where treatment is ongoing and life-threatening condition persists.
Gendarmerie teams immediately launched an investigation into the incident and took the older brother, F.Y., into custody as a suspect. After completing procedures at gendarmerie headquarters, F.Y. was referred to the courthouse, where he was arrested by the duty judge and sent to prison.
