Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office brought Arı before a judge on charges of 'disseminating misleading information publicly'.

BirGün reporter İsmail Arı was referred to court by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with an arrest request following a prosecutor's statement that began at 12:00. Bianet reported.
Arı was taken into custody on October 20 as part of an investigation initiated by a complaint from former RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin, spent the night at Ankara Police Headquarters, and was transferred to the courthouse at 10:00 today.
The prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation against Arı on charges of 'insulting a public official for his duties' and 'disseminating misleading information publicly to the public'; the referral to court was made only on the second charge.
Arı was taken into custody on March 21, 2023, in Tokat as part of a separate investigation by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and spent 75 days in Sincan Prison. On June 5, the Ankara 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance released Arı without judicial monitoring, despite the prosecutor's request to extend his detention.
