Three suspects in Büyükçekmece and Bağcılar murders arrested in Edirne

Three individuals suspected of involvement in two separate murder cases that occurred in Istanbul's Büyükçekmece and Bağcılar districts were arrested in Edirne while attempting to flee the country. Security forces acted before the suspects could cross the border, and the arrests were successfully carried out.

Following the murders committed in two different districts, an investigation was launched during which it was determined that the suspects were attempting to leave the country. Upon this discovery, security units coordinated an operation and stopped the suspects in Edirne before they reached the border crossing point. The three individuals taken into custody were handed over to relevant units for interrogation.

Authorities stated that the investigation into the murders in Büyükçekmece and Bağcılar is ongoing, with officials continuing their efforts to clarify all aspects of the cases. It was noted that the interrogation of the suspects is of critical importance regarding the statements that will be obtained.
