The revocation of Istanbul Bilgi University's operating license has been overturned through a presidential decision published in the Official Gazette. According to Anadolu Agency, following this decision, teaching and educational activities at the university will resume.
The university, whose operating license was revoked through a decision signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has regained its open status through a new decision by the same office. TRT Haber and Cumhuriyet Newspaper also confirmed the matter.
It was stated that the education of students enrolled at the university will continue without interruption. The development was evaluated as a notable example in terms of oversight and licensing processes for foundation universities in Turkey.
