Simultaneous operation in Istanbul and Ankara: 8 suspects detained in connection with 4 shooting incidents

In a simultaneous operation conducted on the morning of August 14, 2026, in Istanbul and Ankara, 8 suspects identified as being involved in 4 separate shooting and wounding incidents were apprehended and detained.

TRT Haber confirmed the same operation. Reports indicated that the operation was coordinated from Istanbul.
