Truck and tractor collide in Kastamonu: Yolkava village headman killed

A village headman lost his life in a traffic accident on the Kastamonu-İnebolu highway in Seydiler district of Kastamonu. According to information obtained, a tractor driven by Çetin Işık collided with a truck whose identity has not yet been disclosed to the public. Following the crash, Işık, who was severely injured, was taken to Kastamonu Education and Research Hospital by ambulance after initial treatment by medical personnel dispatched to the scene.

Despite all efforts by hospital medical staff, Işık did not survive. It was learned that the deceased, Çetin Işık, was the elected headman of Yolkava village in Seydiler district of Kastamonu. His body was transferred to the hospital morgue, while no official statement has been made regarding the identity of the truck involved in the accident.

News of the crash spread quickly through Seydiler district, with Işık's death prompting an outpouring of grief. Authorities are reported to have launched an investigation into the accident.
