410 students from different regions of the country competed in the competition organized by ASELSAN at Artuklu Fair Grounds; the champion will be announced in Şanlıurfa.

The TEKNOFEST Southeast Unmanned Ground Vehicle Competition at Mardin Artuklu Fair Grounds concluded on Saturday. In the organization that began on September 9 under the leadership of ASELSAN and under the patronage of Mardin Provincial Administration, 30 finalist teams comprising 410 students from different regions of the country competed on a challenging course.
According to Anadolu Agency, the competition had two special award winners: the Teknomer Kara Muhafız team from Gazi University received the "best team spirit" award, and the Kapsül Raclab Rover team from Konya Technical University received the "best design" award. The teams that placed will be announced at the TEKNOFEST Southeast closing ceremony to be held in Şanlıurfa.
Mardin Governor Tuncay Akkoyun, speaking at the closing ceremony, expressed his satisfaction that they hosted youth in a technology competition in this historic city.
Mardin is hosting this competition for the first time; in previous years, TEKNOFEST Southeast stages were organized based in Gaziantep.
