The Directorate General of Security conducted large-scale operations against cyber crimes across 64 provinces over the past five days. Of the 1,021 suspects apprehended in the operations, 319 were remanded in custody by court order.
Additionally, approximately 48 billion 16 million Turkish liras in assets were identified and seized as part of the operations. Significant success was achieved in the operations targeting various cyber crimes including internet fraud, counterfeiting checks, and illegal money printing.
