Two employees injured at Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhya nuclear plant

Two employees sustained injuries Thursday at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant, located in Russian-controlled territory, according to plant director Yury Chernichuk.

One worker, employed in the transportation department, remained in critical condition. A second employee from the facility's landscaping unit suffered leg injuries.

The plant, Europe's largest nuclear facility, has faced repeated safety concerns since Russian forces took control in 2022. Details on the incident's cause were not immediately disclosed.
