Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski will conduct a working visit to Istanbul today at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The agenda for the talks will include the Russia-Ukraine War, the security situation in the Black Sea and regional developments, as well as steps aimed at developing bilateral cooperation between Turkey and Ukraine.

In a video message shared on his social media account, Zelenski said about his Istanbul contacts: "There will be important discussions in Turkey," and noted that work is underway to realize all available diplomatic opportunities. The Ukrainian leader also stated that he foresees reaching long-debated formats in November.

In the same message, Zelenski noted that work continues to address power outages resulting from Russian military airstrikes on energy infrastructure, and preparations are ongoing to increase attacks on Russia using long-range weapons.
