Wildberries subsidiary becomes trustee of UzPost state package

WB INT EXPORT, a 100% subsidiary of Russian marketplace Wildberries, has been appointed as trustee of the state shareholding in UzPost, Uzbekistan's national postal operator. This follows from a shareholders' meeting protocol dated September 21, 2026.

The document repeatedly references a trust management agreement signed on December 30, 2025. Under section 6.1 of agreement no. 01/3-94, WB INT EXPORT sent a letter on March 31, 2026, nominating five candidates from its own ranks for election to UzPost's supervisory board.

In a letter dated August 11, WB INT EXPORT requested an extraordinary shareholders' meeting to consider the election of a new supervisory board. At the September 21 meeting, shareholders formed a nine-member supervisory board for a three-year term; five seats went to representatives affiliated with WB INT EXPORT.
