Indian Deccan Gold Begins Gold Mining at Solton-Sary in Naryn Region
First doré bullion batch received in August; 150–160 kg of gold planned for the financial year through March 2027.

Indian company Deccan Gold Mines has launched initial commercial operations at the "Altyn-Tor" gold ore site within the Solton-Sary deposit in Kyrgyzstan's Naryn region. Total investment in the project has reached approximately 350 crore Indian rupees, or roughly $40 million.
The ceremonial opening of the gold extraction plant took place on September 12, 2026, with the participation of Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Zhaparov in an online format. The company received its first batch of gold-bearing doré bullion in August.
According to company plans, 150–160 kg of gold will be produced at "Altyn-Tor" in the financial year ending March 31, 2027.
State-owned JSC "Kyrgyzaltyn" participates in the deposit's development under a simple partnership agreement concluded on December 20, 2021. "Kyrgyzaltyn's" stake in the partnership is 35%, while "Avelum Partner's" stake is 65%. Deccan Gold holds a 60% stake in "Avelum Partner" itself.
According to Deccan Gold's assessment, the project's mineral resources comprise approximately 5.6 tonnes of gold, including reserves in existing tailings storage facilities and waste dumps. Immediate priorities include completion of the leaching process line, development of tailings storage, and further geological exploration. It was previously announced that all produced commercial gold will be transferred to "Kyrgyzaltyn" without independent metal export by the Indian partner.
