Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliiev marked the Day of Automobile Transport and Road Sector Workers by transferring keys to more than 50 units of new specialized equipment to the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The shipment included dump trucks, graders, and loaders.

The ceremony took place at Turdakun Usubaliev Square in Bishkek, followed by a festive event at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after Tokhtogul Satylganov.

Kasymaliiev presented comparative figures on sector funding: previously, roads received approximately 2 billion soms annually, but in recent years this figure has reached 60 billion soms. Between 2022 and 2026, the road sector acquired 1,344 units of equipment — compared to 648 units during 2010–2020.

The head of the cabinet noted that "in 2024, 1,545 kilometers of roads were paved," and added that this year the figure will exceed 1,700 kilometers, emphasizing that this demonstrates significant growth in the scale of road construction.

Kasymaliiev also highlighted the strategic importance of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway for the country's logistics and economic development. During the event, several newly constructed and renovated roads in the regions were opened online. Sector workers were presented with certificates of honor and commendations.
