Financial institutions in Belarus will be granted the right to operate with 26 digital currencies, including bitcoin, Toncoin, and Tether. According to Cryptopolitan, this expansion of the list of permitted crypto assets reflects the strategy of Belarusian authorities to develop the blockchain and digital finance sector.
The permission obtained will allow crypto banks to provide a broader range of services based on digital assets.
