Putin told U.S. envoy Witkoff of readiness to negotiate in Abu Dhabi with participation of Russia, the U.S., and Ukraine.

Moscow is ready to resume trilateral negotiations with the United States and Ukraine around November 10, according to Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov following Vladimir Putin's meeting with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff. According to Ushakov, during the talks the Russian president confirmed the country's principled readiness for a new round of diplomatic contacts. The proposed venue for the meeting is Abu Dhabi. The central theme of the negotiations should be the formation of a security architecture that serves the interests of both Russia and Ukraine.
Head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Special Representative of the President for Investment Cooperation Kirill Dmitriev publicly thanked the American negotiators. In a message on the X platform, he directed words of gratitude to Steve Witkoff and White House advisor Jared Kushner, calling them peacemakers. Witkoff's visit to Moscow became one of the key diplomatic contacts between Washington and the Kremlin amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
