Sheremetyevo evacuated passengers following air raid alert

Sheremetyevo airport declared an air raid alert and evacuated passengers, including those on board aircraft. Access to the sterile zone of all terminals was restricted, and the airport was closed to aircraft arrivals and departures.

According to the airport's management company, passengers were instructed to immediately proceed to the nearest safe zones and shelters. Visitors were strictly prohibited from using elevators, remaining on board aircraft, staying near windows and glass structures, taking photographs or video, and approaching detected drones or their debris.

Flight restrictions were implemented at all Moscow airports — Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky. Rosaviation stated that the measures were taken to ensure flight safety. According to online flight boards, Sheremetyevo cancelled 84 flights and delayed another 139.
