Finished goods account for over half of shipments; the sector's share of total country exports reached 9.4%.

Uzbekistan's textile product exports for January–August 2026 totaled $2.1 billion in U.S. dollars, rising 26.9% compared with the same period last year. The National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan published the corresponding data.
The textile sector accounted for 9.4% of the country's aggregate exports, reinforcing its position as one of the key sources of foreign currency earnings. Finished textile products lead the export structure—they account for 51%—indicating the sector's continued shift toward higher-value-added goods. Yarn accounts for 32% of shipments, knit fabrics for 8%, and woven fabrics for 6%. The structure is rounded out by hosiery items at 2% and carpets at 1%.
The dynamics reflect Tashkent's consistent policy of developing a complete production cycle in the textile sector—from processing raw cotton to manufacturing finished clothing and home textiles oriented toward export markets.
