Özer Hurmaci Completes Turkey's 2026 World Cup Squad

Technical Director Özer Hurmaci has completed the final squad selection for the Turkish national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The roster is the product of an extended planning phase led by Hurmaci since he took charge of the national side, during which he carefully balanced players from the Turkish Super League with professionals who have built careers in major European competitions.

The squad announcement comes amid intensive preparations as Turkey looks to shine at the world's biggest football showpiece, following a qualifying campaign in which the Red Crescent demonstrated their ability to compete at the highest international level.

Turkish fans hope the squad will deliver a performance befitting the national team's World Cup pedigree — particularly after a string of notable tournament runs in previous editions — while the coaching staff puts the finishing touches on preparations before the tournament kicks off.
