The General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, led by its chairman Turki Al Al-Sheikh, announced the postponement of the Six Kings Slam tennis championship in its third edition, which was scheduled for October 21-24.

Al Al-Sheikh attributed the decision in a post on X platform to "organizational and logistical challenges," setting the new date for the championship from December 27 to 30. The announcement came following a wave of attacks carried out by Yemeni Houthis on the kingdom.

The championship was set to include Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, and Alexander Zverev, alongside Taylor Fritz, Jannik Sinner, and Alex De Minaur. Netflix was to handle live broadcasting of the competition from Riyadh.

In the same context, the Saudi Roshn League for professionals decided to postpone three matches, including a match featuring Al-Nassr club, which includes Cristiano Ronaldo, based on "logistical considerations while respecting the mandatory minimum rest periods between matches."
