AKP delegation visits CHP headquarters for first time in three years

On the second day of Eid al-Adha, an AKP delegation visited CHP headquarters for the first time in three holiday periods. Speaking on behalf of the AKP, Resul Kurt said, "We all have one homeland, and we can sit at the same table to solve our problems." According to Cumhuriyet Newspaper's report, messages of unity and dialogue between the two parties dominated the visit. The contact between the AKP and CHP coincides with a period in which the CHP's internal congress process is proceeding in a contentious manner.
