Good Party responds sharply to '9 MPs defecting to MHP' claim: 'Scenario of those disturbed by our rise'

The Good Party firmly rejected the claim circulating in Ankara circles that 'nine Good Party MPs will defect to the MHP.' Party officials argued it was a 'scenario of those disturbed by the party's rise,' characterizing the report as an intentional operation.

According to Cumhuriyet newspaper, the claim surfaced on the day Good Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made a support visit to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel at CHP headquarters. The fact that the visit coincided precisely with the claim's emergence prompted commentary suggesting the allegations were rooted in political calculation.

Good Party officials also pointed to the past: 'We saw this film at the beginning of the opening process. That day they said 15 MPs, and not a single person left.' The MPs named in the reports rejected the allegations 'in clear and definitive terms.' For its part, the MHP issued no official statement on the matter.
