Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to Sign Trilateral Defense Agreement on Friday

Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will sign a trilateral defense agreement on Friday in Saudi Arabia. According to Times of Israel, the signing ceremony will take place in Riyadh.

Details of the agreement have not yet been shared with the public; however, it is known that Turkey has rapidly increased defense exports and joint exercise agreements on both the Gulf and South Asia axes in recent years. Ankara continues to deliver Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles to Islamabad under the defense cooperation framework signed with Pakistan in 2023.

The gathering of the three countries at the same table this time coincides with a period when tensions between Iran and the United States are escalating and Houthi forces in Yemen continue their attacks on Gulf countries. The Turkish Defense Ministry has not yet made an official statement.
