YENİ Party, under the leadership of Chairman Özgür Özel, will hold its first open TBMM group meeting tomorrow (August 4, 2026) at 11:30 a.m. in the grand hall of parliament. The official notification has been submitted to the Office of the Speaker of Parliament.
The party held its first closed group meeting on July 28; at that meeting, Ankara Member of Parliament Tekin Bingöl was designated as Deputy Speaker of Parliament. Burhanettin Bulut, Veli Ağbaba, Turan Taşkın Özer, Seyit Torun, and Özgür Karabat were elected to the Group Executive Board.
Tomorrow's open meeting will be the party's first official parliamentary appearance before the public since its formation following its split from the CHP.
