Baker Mehmet Pehlivan dies from gunshot wound while trying to break up fight

A baker named Mehmet Pehlivan who attempted to break up a dispute was shot in the chest and killed by a bullet fired during the altercation. 's report, the incident occurred when an argument that began with the claim "you looked at my wife" escalated into a kicking and punching brawl.

Security camera footage obtained by Show Haber shows a woman attempting to pull her husband away from the scene as the other person attacked with a series of punches and kicks. Mehmet Pehlivan, a shopkeeper nearby, stepped in to separate the two parties. At that exact moment, a gun was fired and the bullet struck Pehlivan in the chest.

Severely wounded, Pehlivan was taken to the hospital by emergency medical teams who responded to the call; however, he could not be saved despite doctors' full intervention efforts. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
