Iran warns US as Israel bombs Lebanon

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued an explicit warning to Washington against potential attacks on Iranian ships and tankers. Tehran announced it reserves the right to retaliate should such an attack occur. The warning comes at a sensitive moment as a temporary ceasefire between the US and Iran remains in effect; however, tensions between the two nations continue to run high.

At the same time, the Israeli military announced that at least 24 people have been killed in airstrikes it conducted across various regions of Lebanon. While details regarding the targets and locations of the strikes have yet to be clarified, reports indicate the strikes affected multiple points.

These two developments escalating simultaneously in the region point to deepening instability in the Middle East. As concerns over maritime security in the Gulf intensify, pressure on international shipping routes is mounting. Although diplomatic channels are being kept open, military tensions on the ground have not subsided.
