Russian missile and drone attacks overnight left more than 350,000 electricity customers in Dnipro and surrounding communities without power, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, confirmed.

Hanzha said water supply and wastewater pumping stations were switched to backup generators. Ukraine's largest private energy company, DTEK, reported that Russian strikes had damaged major power networks in parts of Dnipro and nearby districts.

The power outages followed a deadly Russian drone strike on a railway station in Dnipro, where civilians were waiting for commuter and passenger trains.

Russian forces also struck an industrial enterprise in the Kremenchuk district of central Ukraine's Poltava region. Regional military administration head Vitalii Diakivnych confirmed the attack on Telegram; the facility's identity and the extent of the damage were not immediately disclosed. The strike came less than a day after Russian attacks on residential areas in Kremenchuk killed three people and injured 32, including six children. Regional authorities declared Friday a day of mourning.

In Kyiv, a ballistic missile strike on warehouse buildings in the Darnytskyi district triggered fires. Falling debris and blast damage affected residential buildings in the neighbouring Dniprovskyi district. The Kyiv City Military Administration confirmed one fatality.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukrainian intelligence had identified Russian preparations for further ballistic missile strikes.
