Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan announced that under the İŞKUR Youth program, approximately 220,000 university students received stipend payments totaling over 10 billion lira during the February 2025 – April 2026 period.

The program, administered by the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), aims to ease the financial difficulties university students face throughout their academic lives and provide economic support to young people. Payments under the program are transferred at regular intervals to help students meet their daily living and education expenses.

Minister Işıkhan's statement reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening social support policies for young people. The İŞKUR Youth program stands out as a comprehensive social policy model, combining employment-focused support mechanisms with initiatives that directly target student welfare.
