Japarov Opens Kyrgyz-Uzbek Double-Glazed Window Factory in Chuy Region

The Kyrgyz-Uzbek GLASS CENTER enterprise for the production of double-glazed windows and reflective glass has begun operations in Ysyk-Ata district of Chuy region. The factory opened as part of the "100 Industrial Enterprises — 2026" project: on September 12, President Sadyr Japarov participated in a nationwide launch of new production facilities in online format.

Total investment in the project amounted to 482 million soms. Projected capacity is up to 12,000 m² of products per month, or more than 144,000 m² per year. The enterprise has already created more than 100 jobs, the majority of which are held by young specialists. In the future, the workforce is planned to be expanded threefold — to 300 people.

The Ministry of Economy expects that launching production will reduce Kyrgyzstan's construction market's dependence on imports of double-glazed windows and reflective glass and will expand internal production cooperation.
