Russia and India intend to increase their mutual trade turnover to $100 billion and the volume of mutual investments to $50 billion by 2030. This was stated by India's Ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar in an interview with TASS following the second Russia-India Business Forum Time.

President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce for International Business Manpreet Singh told TASS that trade turnover between the two countries could reach $500 billion within the next three years — provided a free trade agreement is concluded between India and the Eurasian Economic Union.

The forum took place in Kazan on October 15–16 and was aimed at developing Russia-India trade and economic cooperation. Participants discussed joint investment projects and opportunities for technological cooperation.
