Eight Dutch evacuees from hantavirus ship land in Eindhoven

Eight Dutch passengers evacuated from the Hondius cruise ship landed at Eindhoven airport on Sunday evening, according to DutchNews.

The passengers were removed from the vessel where a hantavirus outbreak began. A new infection was reported among evacuees during the repatriation process.

The evacuation represents the largest single-country removal from the affected ship. Dutch health officials are monitoring all returned passengers for symptoms.
