The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) will release July 2026 Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Domestic Producer Price Index (PPI) data on Monday, August 3 at 10:00 a.m.
AA Finance completed an expectations survey with the participation of 17 economists. The average monthly CPI forecast came in at 1.82 percent, with individual estimates ranging between 1.35 and 2.10 percent.
Should the average materialize, annual inflation — measured at 32.11 percent in June — is expected to ease to 31.80 percent. Economists' year-end 2026 inflation expectation stands at 29.55 percent.
Financial markets, particularly exchange rates and Borsa İstanbul, will closely watch the figures once released.
TURKSTAT will release July CPI data tomorrow, with economists expecting a monthly increase of 1.82 percent. If this figure materializes, annual inflation will decline from June's 32.11 percent to 31.80 percent.
Inflation data directly impacts exchange rates and stock market performance; therefore, it is a critical indicator for investors and savers. A decline in annual inflation to 31.80 percent could affect treasury bond yields and your savings decisions.
