Ukraine arrests Zelenskyy's former top aide in expanded graft probe

Ukrainian authorities have arrested a former top aide to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as an expanding corruption probe deepens within the presidential administration.

The arrest signals intensifying anti-corruption efforts in wartime Ukraine, where questions about governance and resource management have surfaced amid ongoing conflict. The development reflects pressure from Western allies and domestic reformers for accountability.

The case comes as Ukraine faces international scrutiny over military procurement, aid distribution, and political patronage during wartime operations.
